Policies of the State
The Nazis were known for their strict polices that they enforced in order to meet their goal of promoting an Aryan only culture. The Nazis were determined to right the wrongs that were done to Germany during the first World War and to punish those responsible for their harsh treatment in the aftermath of the fighting. They also wanted to annihilate the Marxist (Communist) ideals that were plaguing Germany as well as the Jewish population. While there were many groups that sprung up after WWI, the Nazis were the first movement to actually instate violent policies against people. Their policies called for the advancement of the true German race through their multiple Aryanization programs, which were instated in order to deprive the Jewish people of their livelihood. While many of these policies, such as sectioning Jews into ghettos and forbidding them to work or shop in certain places, weren't extremely violent to begin with, they would eventually escalate into aggressive, extermination policies such as deportation to concentration camps, and gassing. These policies would come to be known as the "Final Solution". While the Nazis never really had a stated, published policy, a commitment to their cause and to their Fuhrer was considered enough to unite them all.
